internships

The Push Performance Internship Program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive learning experience that will dramatically improve your coaching skills. You’ll have an opportunity to work in an integrated model of personal training, sports performance, and group training. Under the supervision of the Push Performance team, you’ll participate in coaching a variety of adult fitness and sports performance clients including youth, high school, collegiate athletes.

Interns follow a detailed educational curriculum covering every aspect of the Push Performance system, including assessment analytics, program design, and coaching skills. Weekly staff in-services, independent learning, and one-on-one learning experiences are scheduled throughout the internship covering a variety of topics each week. In addition, interns may participate in any learning opportunities, such as seminars, that are detailed by Push Performance during the internship.

We are openly accepting applications for internships, you can apply at anytime. We offer multiple internship groups throughout the calendar year.
• Spring - February 15th to May 14th
• Summer - May 15th to August 14th
• Fall - August 15th to November 14th
• Winter - November 15th to February 14th

Hours vary based on time of year but include a variety of times including early morning and evening hours. At times during the sports seasons we are open from 8am to as late as 8pm. All internships are unpaid and participation does not necessarily entitle the participant to a job at the conclusion of the internship.
